This press can accommodate paper stocks up to 1mm thick and runs at a maximum 15,000 copies an hour. Startup is fast with a state-of-the-art automatic register control system and ink presetting from digital prepress.

An Infra-red ink dryer eliminates the need for anti-setoff powder while the water-cooled press control components are the first of its kind in the country today.

Hot Off the Press

Long printing hours is slashed to a fraction of a second. Print Town's fully automated HEIDELBERG M-600 commercial heatset web press can produce 44,000 copies in an hour - that's 12 copies in a second! We print on both sides simultaneously with magazine signatures coming out folded and ready for binding. Our automatic plate changing system can even change jobs in three minutes. Ink settings are pre-set from the digital prepress system lowering startup spoilage, which makes small quantity, high-speed web runs economically viable.
